In Context/ ProdusLaCentrala

We spent our pandemic year in a small village, deep in the forest, researching new ways of survival through art and design. In context is a local centre of contemporary art, ecology and human development where we engaged in various community projects, creative workshops and crafts, and manufactured a beautiful collection of up-cycled products.

All products are unique, created, including packaging, from various categories of high quality fabrics and wallpaper which by manufacturing were diverted from landfill. Kudos to In Context team, volunteers and all active members of Slanic Moldova community who made this possible.

Local volunteers were involved in our creative workshops, they learned traditional craft techniques like sewing, weaving, collage and packing design and how to adapt these skills to create something practical and unique.
